Greek Turkey Meatballs

These meatballs are packed with flavor, super easy to make, and feel like a restaurant-style meal while still supporting your health goals. They’re high in protein, lower in carbs, and pair perfectly with homemade tzatziki and a cucumber tomato feta salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 large red onion, grated (or finely chopped)

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped

  • 1/2 tbsp dried oregano

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic, red onion, egg, breadcrumbs, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.

  3. Form mixture into about 14 meatballs and place on the prepared baking sheet.

  4. Lightly drizzle or brush with olive oil.

  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.

  6. Serve with homemade tzatziki and a cucumber tomato feta salad.

Notes

  • These are delicious served over rice, cauliflower rice, greens, or in lettuce wraps.

  • This recipe is perfect to double and freeze extras.
